Crizards: This Means War

No one does total joyful narrative silliness like Crizards. Eddy Hare and Will Rowland bring their wartime spoof back with loads of surprisingly catchy songs (one of which I still hum sometimes).

Siân Docksey: Pole Yourself Together!

Dread! Seagulls! Pole-dancing! It’s the holy triumvirate of comedy, didn’t you know? Siân Docksey is bringing back the show that solidified her as the most impressive comedian out there.

Fool’s Moon on tour

May 15th-16th, The Wardrobe Bristol; May 24th, Brighton Fringe. Tickets/more dates

A plague is spreading throughout the land: a dance plague. And only Fool’s Moon can save you, or become your ultimate doom (by making you dance). Performed by clowns Paulina Lenoir, Lachlan Werner, Laurie Luxe, Ella The Great and a local performer in each city upon which they descend.

Come for the two lesbians in a trench coat, stay for the songs and the personal growth: Double act Shelf have left behind being mistaken for teenage boys, now they’re teenage men.

Lachlan Werner: Voices of Evil

Marjolein Robertson: Marj

Your last chance to see this show which took the Fringe by storm last year. Marjolein is one of the funniest stand-ups around.

The only person to whom I will defer to on soup expertise, Alison Spittle is the ultimate storyteller with the natural charm of a pal having a chat.
